Mr. Cooper began his career as a Health and Physical Education teacher over 20 years ago in an elementary setting before transitioning into school administration. His school level educational work experience includes elementary, middle, alternative, and high school positions. Mr. Cooper holds several degrees, including an Associates degree in Forest Technology, a Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University in Health & Physical Education, a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Cambridge College, and an Education Specialist in Leadership from Georgia College and State University.

Mrs. Angie Snyder completed her student teaching in 2002 at Claxton Middle School.  Following graduation from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education, she was hired at Claxton Elementary School as a fifth grade teacher, where she taught for 12 years.  Mrs. Snyder obtained her Master's degree from Walden University with a focus on K-8 Mathematics Education.  After many years in the classroom, she became an Instructional Coach at Claxton Elementary where she was able to work closely with teachers and students to improve all aspects of teaching and learning.  After several years as an instructional coach, Mrs. Snyder obtained her Leadership Degree from Valdosta State University and became an Assistant Principal at Claxton High School.  In her current position as an Assistant Principal at Claxton High School, she continues to work closely with teachers, students, and parents to make sure students of Evans County are College and Career Ready.
