5:50 PM Update
ECCSS will be closed on Tuesday, January 9, due to the expected storm system that will be in our area tomorrow. ECCSS made this decision after discussions with our Evans County Emergency Management Agency (ECEMA) and based on the most recent weather forecasts. Currently, the greatest concern is the potential for wind gusts on Tuesday which could impede the safe operation of school buses.
We plan to reopen on Wednesday, January 10. Please continue to monitor our website, district Facebook page, ECCSS Push Notifications, and Kinvo (messaging system for parents/guardians) for additional information.
The safety of our students, staff, families, and community is our number one concern.

At this time, ECCSS plans to continue with the regular school schedule tomorrow.

ECCSS is monitoring the weather system that is predicted to go through our area tomorrow.
ECCSS officials are coordinating with Evans County Emergency Management Agency (ECEMA) to discuss updates and possible impacts.
