September 24,2024: Evans County Charter School System (ECCSS) officials are working with Evans County Emergency Management Agency (ECEMA)  to closely monitor Tropical Cyclone Nine’s trajectory and possible impact. The safety of the students, staff, families, and community we serve is our top priority as we make decisions regarding the weather. Currently the greatest concern is the potential for widespread power outages and for projected winds that could impact transportation.

We will continue monitoring the conditions, so please continue to check our ECCSS website and Facebook page for updates.

Based on updates, ECCSS hopes to announce contingency plans by 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, if needed.

Official alerts regarding our district will be shared with families through our Kinvo messaging system. We ask our parents/families to ensure they've created a Campus Parent Account and have updated contact information, so they can receive our Kinvo messages. Families can also find updates on our ECCSS website and our district Facebook page.

We ask for and appreciate your patience as we will continue to keep what is best for our students, staff, families, and other stakeholders in mind as we make decisions regarding Tropical Cyclone Nine and other decisions our district faces throughout this school year.
