It is with a heavy heart that I need to inform you that we lost one of our family tonight. Julie Sikes was killed tragically in a car wreck this evening. We do not have any other details at this time. We will have additional support on site at CHS tomorrow and will have additional counselors available for students. All athletic and after school activities are being cancelled. Julie was a well-respected and loved teacher, a faithful mentor, an awesome instructional coach, and a devoted Claxton Tiger fan. Her presence will truly be missed. Please say a prayer for Julie's family and hold each other close.
